REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER BAHRAIN
Tourist Visa

An Electronic Visa is available for U.S. travelers arriving in Bahrain for a stay up to two weeks. For further information see Bahrain E-Visa
Submit your U.S. Passport, must be signed and valid six months beyond stay.
1 Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed
1 Passport-type photograph required
Letter from applicant addressed to: “Visa Section, Consulate General of Bahrain, New York N.Y ” explaining purpose of travel to Bahrain, brief itinerary, and the applicant’s responsibility for all travel expenses.
Copy of return/onward tickets or airline itinerary
Applications for minors must be accompanied by a notarized letter of travel consent from BOTH parents and a photocopy of BOTH parents passports.

Business Visa

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:Visa Section, Consulate General of Bahrain, New York N.Y The letter must explain all of the following:

The purpose of travel and nature of duties to be performed;
A business reference in Bahrain to be visited;
Guarantee financial support for the visit and return transportation.

The letter should be signed by an officer or manager of the company, other than the applicant.
