REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER BOLIVIA
Tourist Visa

A valid U.S. Passport is required. (must be valid at least 6 months beyond date of arrival, and contain at least one blank visa page.)
Bolivia Visa Application fully completed and signed.
1 Passport type Photograph.
Copy of Hotel Confirmation, or letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Bolivia.
Copy of Round Trip Airline Ticket or copy of travel agency/airline Itinerary.
Copy of Bank Statement (copy of Credit Card also accepted).
International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required (except for minors age under 1 year).
US minors travelling alone, must hold a travel authorization from absent parent(s)/guardian(s). Translation into Spanish recommended.

Business Visa

Submit U.S. Passport /must have at least 6 months validity remaining and contain at least one blank visa page
1 Bolivia Visa Application, completed and signed
1 Recent Passport-Type Photograph
A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:Consulate General of Bolivia, Visa Section, New York, N.Y The letter must explain all of the following
Purpose of the trip
Name and address of company to be visited

Guarantee of financial responsibility and return transportation
