Tourist Visa

Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport, must have six months remaining validity and contain at least two blank visa pages
1 Application form, you must complete, print and sign the ONLINE visa form (Caution: any typographical error will result in the application being rejected)
2 Passport-type photographs required
Airline or Travel agency itinerary showing departure from the USA
Jurisdiction: A clear photocopy of your driver’s license, showing your residence in the jurisdiction of this Consulate – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and Vermont, Virgin Islands
A brief letter addressed to the Consulate of India requesting the visa validity you require (6 months, or 1 year visa, or 5 years)

Business Visa

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Indian Consulate General, Visa SectionThe letter must state all of the following
The nature of the business performed
The name of the business reference to be visited
Letter requesting visa validity required (6 mos, 1-5-10 years). For the 10 year visa an invitation from your Joint Venture partner in India is required
Guarantee sufficient financial support for the visit
Guarantee return transportation to the USA.

The business letter should be signed by a company officer
